Did you know that using a hole punch helps strengthen fine motor muscles? These muscles are used later for many everyday things such as holding a pencil, zipping a coat, buttoning, scissor skills, dressing a doll, etc.

1ļøāƒ£Cut out a heart if it's not precut

2ļøāƒ£Have your child "trace" the heart by hole punching around

šŸ—£"Is it harder with your right hand or left hand?"


*Lace string through the holes when your child is all done for an extra bonus to strengthen fine motor muscles.
