MATERIALS

• markers (I used permanent but regular also will work)

• scissors

• cardboard

• the book It's Pumpkin Day, Mouse! by Laura Numeroff

• white board markers

• clear packaging tape

HOW TO

1.draw and color pumpkin

TWO OPTIONS

2. draw and color emotions for the face

3. cut out emotions (I colored the outside of the pieces orange so I didn't have to have an exact cut)

OR

2. use clear packaging tape to tape over the entire surface of pumpkin

3. make sure the pieces line up or even over lap leaving no cardboard showing

4.read the book and have your child recreate the emotion using TWO OPTIONS
