This is a handmade mat. It has a soft fleece on one side and a easy wipe oil cloth fabric on the other side. The oil cloth is water proof so if you decide to do a water activity you won’t have to worry about it soaking through. The colored fleece (border on oilcloth side) serves as a boundary for your child to in that area with their sensory. 
These are the FIRST ever Teaching Tots Things sensory bin mats they are about 2.5ft by 2.5ft with a few inches added on some.
This makes clean up easy when your sensory play is over. You won’t have to feel like it’s another blanket to wash because it will only be used for sensory play.
