Fun way to explore magnets

This lesson is to go along with our Snacks & Stories 2 A Look At Magnets book. You can find it on our Youtube channel.

Materials:

• magnetic wand

• magnetic things

• nonmagnetic things

How To:

1. test different objects to see if they are magnetic or not

2. make a chart ahead of time of your objects and guess if you think it is or not magnetic-count and see how many you get right

3. let your child take the wand around the house and discover what is or is not magnetic
